Eats & Drinks, Greenville

Welcome to Moe’s…BBQ!

There’s a new Moe’s in town, and it just so happens to be right around the corner from my house in the new Westone development, west of Main st. on Stone Ave.  As if I needed an excuse to eat BBQ and drink beer (or a ‘rita)!

A couple weeks ago, we headed up to Moe’s and had a huge sampling of all they have to offer.  Needless to say, we left full and very happy! One of the 1st things I tried from Moe’s was their Moe-Rita, which might be one of my top Margaritas in town. And to top it off, they are $5 on Mondays for Happy Hour, 4-7pm.  You know where to find me when I have a case of the Mondays.

As for food, we started with the Redneck Nachos, which were so, so good.  They are made with homemade chips, BBQ, melted cheese, BBQ sauce…so tasty! This may be my favorite item they offer and a perfect snack for watching the game and grabbing a beer.

Wings with Alabama White sauce – don’t need a lot of sauce because the flavor is so good!  And I’m only willing to get messy for good wings.

Fried Catfish & Shrimp with Slaw and Potato Salad.  I’m not normally a catfish fan, but this was so tender and not fishy, and a great option if you aren’t in the mood for BBQ. And who doesn’t love fried shrimp and hush puppies!?

Meat platter – Gimme ALL the meats! Brisket (only on Wednesdays and worth coming out for), BBQ chicken, Smoked Turkey, RIbs, and Pulled Pork BBQ, All so tender and delicious!

Sides:  Check specials daily on their IG and FB page.  Squash Casserole, Potato Au Gratin, Collard Greens, Brunswick Stew (teeniest, tastiest stew) are just a few of my favorites.  I will DEFINITELY be getting the biggest container of this stew possible on the regular to keep at home for the Fall and Winter!

Dessert:  Banana Pudding, Mississippi Mud Pie, and don’t forget about the Bushwacker!!  I’m not sure I have ever had one of these, so I don’t have much to compare it to, but boy this was amazing.  Just think spiked chocolate milkshake!

Weekly Specials

Aside from the fact that kids eat free on Tuesdays, Moe’s is very family friendly and if you are able to snag a table outside, there is a great space for the kids to play! WIN-WIN! If you have children 3 and under…you get this.  Eating out can be CHALLENGING, but pick places that you can enjoy, yet also make it easier on you.

So excited to have another go-to spot right up the street and I’m fairly confident we will be here OFTEN!  Welcome to the ‘hood Moe’s Original Bar B Que!

Go check it out!
