APRIL flew by and now Mother’s Day is literally RIGHT around the corner. If you need to pass some hints to your significant other, now is the time! I have some fun things coming up in the next couple of weeks to share with all of you for Mother’s Day, so be sure you are following me on Instagram! I love ALL holidays and any reason to celebrate. This day has always been special to me, (whether I knew it or not when I was a rotten teenager) because I have been blessed with such an amazing mother. She has taught me so much through my life and I am so incredibly grateful for her! And now that I have been blessed to be a mother to 2 beautiful boys, it is such a sweet day to soak up all that it means to be a mom.

After Grayson was born, my husband got me this sweet necklace with all of my boys’ initials (including my husband) and I wear it every single day. It is by far my favorite piece of jewelry I own. Mommas, I hope you get spoiled, because you deserve it. If we only get one day, make the most of it. I dedicated a post last Mother’s Day to all the mommas…and I mean it, ALL the mommas: the ones with physical children here on Earth and those with children in Heaven, the expecting mommas, and the women who long to be mommas one day, and to the friends that on this day their hearts ache, because they have lost their momma – this day is for ALL of you. And although this day is meant to praise each of you, it’s also to celebrate those who are no longer with us too. A day to remember them and their impact on our lives.
This day can be a joyful day for some but can also be a very painful day for others, so just remember that and in your joyful blessings, also pray for those are are hurting and aching on this precious day.
