Trader Joe’s & T-Shirt Dresses

MOST of you have heard of Trader Joe’s and at least know what it is.  If not, to sum it up, it’s an awesome neighborhood grocery store with great quality at great value! Unfortunately, it isn’t necessarily IN or convenient to my neighborhood, but thankfully we at least have one in Greenville now. And you bet, I take every opportunity to go when I’m anywhere close to Woodruff Road in Greenville.

Outfit details:  Obsessed with this new, easy Z Supply t-shirt dress that I got locally from Monkee’s (also linked online below).  Can’t wait for consistent Springy dress weather!  (See more T-shirt dress options below, towards the end of the post).

These gorgeous flowers are the first thing you see when you walk in the door, and I’m pretty sure I’ve never left Trader Joe’s without a few bundles!

Trader Joe’s has the best selection of easy and delicious frozen appetizers.  These are great for a quick grab for a party or if you are having some friends over.  These are 3 of my favorites:  Parmesan Pastry Pups, Pastry Bites with Feta & Caramelized Onions, and Spinach & Kale Bites.  You cannot go wrong with these.  They are delicious and the work is already done for you- just pop them in the oven!

I also make sure to grab these from the freezer section for when we need an easy and quick dinner for the entire family.  The kids love some of the options as well! We love the Chicken (or Vegetable) Fried Rice, Asparagus Risotto, and Mexican Style Roasted Corn.  Sometimes we will just throw these as a side to grilled chicken or a piece of salmon for a full meal.

A couple other items we have loved in the freezer section are:  Turkey Bolognese and Riced Cauliflower Stir Fry.

If you need a variety of crackers – TJ’s has some great options! Their Pita Bite Crackers are my favorite, but they also have some fun (and some gluten free) options, such as the Beet Crackers, Tomato Soup Crackers, and the Cornbread Crisps – all SO good!

I also LOVE their almond butter granola.  I eat it alone as a snack or add it to yogurt and fruit.

Ok…DESSERT – my weakness.  Above are two of my absolute favorites – the chocolate chip cookie deep dish and the Brownie Crisp Ice Cream Sandwiches. If you don’t want to be tempted, don’t buy them!

Obviously their produce is great, so I typically will stock up on fruits and veggies while there as well.  I also recently tried this salad dressing- the Green Goddess- and I’m OBSESSED! It’s so good!

Cheeses are a definite score and you can make a great, affordable cheese plate from Trader Joe’s.  Here are just a few of my favorite cheeses.  They also have great Spanish cheese options and aged cheddar for great prices.  Oh, and don’t forget to grab the Burrata and the Goat’s Milk Cheese if you like a soft cheese!

And the random, one, non-food related item that I will suggest.   A friend recommended that I try this and I absolutely LOVE it!  (on the otherhand, I randomly grabbed some mango shaving cream..and it’s terrible..haha)  But, the smell of this body butter is oh so good!

I am dying to try the Rose Water Facial Toner and the Rose Facial Oil.

So excited for Spring weather to get here and STAY! Our weather has been such a tease lately, but I get super excited to throw on an easy t-shirt dress and some sneakers now (and sandals a little later on).  Here are some of my favorite T-shirt dresses!

So, tell me your Trader Joe’s favorites! What am I missing?!

Happy Tuesday!

XO

Shana
