I cannot describe the luxury of sleeping in, in an incredibly comfortable bed, in a dark room, with no children waking me up. It doesn’t happen often enough, but it is heaven when it does. This girls loves her sleep.
On Saturday, (after sleeping in, of course) we went to a great coffee shop, Trade & Lore, where we got none other than a few “fancy lattes”, with vanilla, chamomile, and lavender flavoring. Simply delish and set on the cutest street, Wall St.
We walked down to Early Girl Eatery for brunch, where we shared the Local Sausage & Sweet Potato Scramble, Fried Chicken & Bacon Salad, and Fried Green Tomato Napoleon.

Then, we headed to Wicked Weed Brewery for a few beers and time in the sun. It was a Twine & Twig day as we all sported a few of our classic style T&T faves. Shop them below.

We also discovered here in the sun, the most wonderful and affordable sunglasses, that are flattering to all face shapes. Somehow, we all forgot our sunglasses, except for my friend, Erin, who just bought this WONDERFUL pair from Nordstrom. So, we passed them around modeling them and now we are all buying them…because they are only $12 and SO CUTE!

Saturday night, we headed back to the Grove Park to watch the sunset with a few cocktails before dinner.

Dinner at Bull & Beggar
They had me at “mornay cheese sauce” on the cauliflower and I literally could have just eaten cauliflower and brussel sprouts for dinner! Pretty sure I was just eating spoonfuls of the cheese. SO GOOD.
The Peel & Eat shrimp above were also delicious, as was the Filet Mignon (below). 
And as always, we couldn’t decide on 1 dessert, so we got 2. 🙂 Sticky Toffee Pudding, which was even better than it sounds, if that is possible, and Beignets with Coffee Pot De Creme – you can never go wrong with beignets in my mind or crème for that matter. 
So, basically, on Saturday, we just ate and drank, but we did it WELL! I cannot wait to go back to Asheville for another weekend. It is such a quick and easy trip, so obviously we should be going more often, right!?!
