Last Minute Father’s Day 2018

Father’s Day is less than a week away and if you are like me, you scramble the last week to find “that perfect gift”.  In all honesty, I bought my gift on a whim on Saturday while shopping downtown and I cannot wait to give it to my husband.  I love a good, thoughtful gift, that is functional.  Something you know that the recipient will actually use and enjoy, and preferably has mentioned in conversations (or a sly text) that they would like it.  Men can be a little bit easier than women in that many of them don’t typically buy for themselves, so I could buy my husband a shirt and he would be perfectly happy.  However, gift giving is one of my love languages, so it usually doesn’t stop there.  Many of the items below, my husband already owns, and most likely I gifted it to him for some sort of occasion.

I also own the Bose Soundsport headphones and I LOVE them!  Great gift for a runner or traveler.   (Order from Amazon here to guarantee on time delivery)  And as far as the speaker goes, my husband literally takes our wireless speaker everywhere you might want to conveniently listen to music…and I’m so glad he does.  And I love the idea of a grill set just in time for Summer!

four | five | six

My husband has these shoes and he loves them.  Super comfy and great for running or lounging.  He also uses the Jack Black facial cleaner and moisturizer.

seven | eight | nine | ten

Everyone needs a new suit for Summer, even Dad! You can never own too many water bottles or to-go coffee mugs. And same goes for Polos and Sunnies!

If you are local and want to shop local.  Here are some of my GO-TOs spots for gifts for my husband:

Rush Wilson’s– yes they carry fancy, expensive dress suits, but they also have the best button downs and polos and boxers!

P Squared –  They have a ton of great gift ideas, including skincare, like Jack Black and Men’s travel bags and sunglasses.

Downtown Market – There are a lot of goodies at the downtown market that would make great gifts for Father’s Day.  Last week I saw some great cards, homemade wooden cutting boards, local meats and seafood (perfect for a fancy dinner for any dad), and plants for the gardener dad!

Community Tap – Grab his favorite six-pack of beer or a good bottle of wine, and pair it with their signature beer mug.

Billiam – If he is in the market for a new pair of jeans, these custom fit jeans are the way to go! They also make beautiful handmade leather belts.

Hope this helps and hope you find something great for the Dads in your life!

Happy Tuesday! And here’s to all the great Dads out there!

XO
