First of all, my husband is a saint for allowing this weekend to happen. For Christmas, my dad gave all of us “Glenn girls” a spa weekend at St. Regis in Atlanta. So, shortly after Christmas, we booked the weekend, which happened to be my mom’s birthday, a perfect weekend to celebrate! Of course, on Friday morning, my youngest son, Grayson tested positive for the flu, but thankfully a mild case since he had gotten the flu shot this season. So, my husband, being the saint that he is, still encouraged me to go for the weekend and enjoy, while he stayed home, quarantined with a sick child, praying that no one else got sick!
It was the perfect, rainy weekend to stay indoors for the spa, so that is exactly what we did!
We arrived to St. Regis on Friday evening and I had never stayed at this hotel before, it was absolutely beautiful!

We walked down the street to dinner at Yebo Ski Haus, which was so delicious! It was all good…but the Smore’s Brulee dessert was the favorite!
Time with family is truly so good for the soul! But, we can’t even get a good pictures together without our kids..haha!
Saturday morning we grabbed a quick coffee and breakfast up the street at The Mourning Dove, an adorable coffee shop that recently opened in The Shops Buckhead.
The rest of our day was spent in the spa and it was well spent. We each got a massage and customized facial. My masseuse was Will and my esthetician was Tamiko, and both were fabulous!
Saturday evening, we headed to St. Cecilia for dinner. Literally, everything we got was delicious! My favorites were the Spaghetti…and again, the dessert, Pear Cake, which was basically a toffee bread pudding, sitting in a pool of toffee…yep, that good. We almost ordered a second one, because it was gone in about 30 seconds.
Sunday morning, before we headed home, we had a wonderful brunch at True Food Kitchen. Again, another meal, where everything we ordered was delicious. I’m really gonna need this restaurant to come to Greenville. Well, all of them really, but Greenville NEEDS a True Food Kitchen! I got the Teriyaki Quinoa Bowl.
I think we have decided that this spa weekend thing needs to be an annual thing, so hopefully we can make that happen somehow. It was such an amazing week of fun, quality time with family, rest, pampering, and good eats, but I was so ready to get back to my little family to help them recover and heal from this sickness. Praying it doesn’t spread and we can get back to normal soon!

Happy Monday, friends! Mine will be spent at home with these little ones for at least one more day just to ensure they don’t spread anything to their friends and teachers at school! Hope they are sweet and cuddly all day long..haha…wishful thinking.
