Coffee & My Favorite T-shirt Dress

One of my favorite things about having this blog is connection.  One of the reasons why I started it was to share the places I love, typically here in Greenville, but also while we travel.  Village Grind is my absolute favorite coffee shop in town.  I used to not drink coffee at all, and then I started with sweet lattes from Starbucks, and slowly transitioned into a super snob and will now only drink lattes from local coffee joints.  As in, if I’m out of town, I seek out coffee shops that make their own syrups, etc.. (it’s a problem that REALLY annoys my husband who just wishes that I would drink black coffee at home with him or be content with a quick run through Starbucks).

When Sarah from Strikes of Luck asked me where I wanted to do our “Capture with Coffee”, it was a no-brainer…my favorite little coffee shop.  Can we just take a minute to talk about the sweet and genuine people at this joint? Even if it was JUST about the coffee, this place would win, but then add in these awesome people and it’s a landslide.  Even though it is no often that I am able to  take a seat in this adorable place to enjoy my hazelnut latte, it sure is a pure pleasure to whip in and out of there on a regular basis in the morning!  So, I was super grateful to have a moment to sit and chat with Sarah this past Sunday.  Follow her @strikesofluck to see what “Capture with Coffee” is all about!

I wore one of my favorite T-shirt dresses.  The temps have been cooling down this week and it has been LOVELY.  I’m not quite ready to commit to jeans yet, but t-shirt dresses can be the perfect transition piece into Fall.  You can wear them now on warm days with sandals or add a cardigan or jacket in the Fall with sneakers or booties!
